PORSCHE 911 TURBO, Manual, Coupe, 1980 V Reg, 73,000 miles, Metallic Gold, 2 Owners. First registered in 1980, this factory 930 3.3 Turbo was purchased by the current owner (a now retired surgeon) in 1981 and in 1987 at 28,000 miles was converted by the reputable specialist Dage Sport to a flat nose Turbo (DS935 conversion). This upgrade is fully documented in the very extensive service history file running from 1982 to current. Other key work was completed in 1995 at 67,000 miles when the current owner undertook an extensive programme of works including turbo replacement, oil lines and oil cooler and a complete overhaul to the air conditioning system. In 1998 at 71,000 miles the engine had a top end rebuild, uprated head studs and replacement cams. In preparing this car for sale RPM were commissioned to remove the engine to re-torque the head studs, replace the clutch, replace the wastegate and complete a major service. This low mileage car has been very well maintained and is a lovely example of the 930 Turbo. The bodywork is largely corrosion free but is the one area that this car needs further work. The customer has deliberately not undertaken any cosmetic work as any potential purchaser can either repaint the existing flat nose setup or for a modest extra cost replace the kit with factory items and return to standard trim. Either way cars with this provenance don’t come along very often. For sale on behalf of a customer of RPM.
