With its run-off Bedford Autodrome is regarded as one of the most safe trackday venues in the UK. Primarily a corporate event venue the facilities are not like normal circuits but that doesn’t put people off. The 4.1 mile “GT” circuit is what we run on and the track never feels busy or overcrowded, though it’s not strictly a racing circuit – rather it’s the best airfield based track in the UK and, if you’re interested in keeping tyre wear down and avoiding stone-chips, perhaps the only airfield track to consider booking: it’s surface is pristine, possibly the best of any circuit in the UK.This is a great first timers venue too as the open feel installs confidence and is one of RPM’s favourite.
